Higher Education: Your Teaching Philosophy Shapes Your View

Your teaching philosophy determines how you engage with technology-enabled learning. I firmly believe that learning through experience is essential and I have personally seen the benefits of using technology in my own teaching.

Currently, I use both Moodle and Google Classroom to add activities and resources for my students in ED 102 and ED 301. Through consistent practice, my teaching has improved to a better standard. I have noticed that my students are enjoying the lessons and are highly engaged. When I give them a quiz, it encourages interaction and collaboration among classmates.

Our institution has been very supportive by offering workshops and professional development sessions on Moodle. These have been incredibly helpful. I am now looking forward to our upcoming workshop on Turnitin, a tool that will greatly assist with assessing and marking student assignments.

Learning by doing, supported by the right tools and training, truly makes a difference.
